KuluQuest is an RPG with local online support where you create a character and quest to find the kulu, 4 small gems that the sleeping dragon of Dragonwing wants... For some reason.
I played a lot of MMORPGs when I was younger. I really liked the genre! It also seemed really popular, so you can imagine my surprise when I found out that people dont actually like the mechanics of the games, just the online aspect, I guess?
I dunno - but I have very fond memories of grinding mobs for hours every night looking for a certain drop. I often shiny hunt in Pokemon as it entices similar feelings. So I decided to make a game that has all of those tedious MMO features that everybody hates. Fetch quests? I like those. Maybe it's the ADHD. Maybe its the Autism :o
I'm basically developing my own fidget cube, to be honest. uwu
A huge(!!) dragon has fallen asleep on an seemingly endless meadow, and your character starts in a small settlement thats gathered under the shade that one of its huge wings provides. The dragon has been asleep for as long as anyone remembers, and it is your turn to bring tribute to it!
Im not sure how the dragon knows what it wants in its slumber, or what it is that it DOES want... But thats the Kulu. You have to collect 5(?) shards(?) of the Kulu(?) in order to do the final dungeon and prestige your character, giving it a sexy mark to say that youve done so, and you start again at level 1. There are dungeons where you can get the Kulu, but its a very low chance. Stuff increases the chance! Maybe. i dunno. thats the game anyway.
I have been slowly making assets... note, very slowly... But maybe I'll show you some of those in the coming days. I dunno. Oh, and the game will be marked as 18+ because I might show a nipple or something somewhere. Anyway until next time uwu
